Approach

Living a fulfilling life goes hand and hand with making supportive dietary decisions. My strategy is to consider all factors that have an impact on your health, not just the meals you consume. From there, we determine where to implement minor tweaks and adjustments that together will result in a significant improvement in your wellness.

Primary food is anything that fuels us off the plate. It’s your need for relationships, connection, love, movement, happiness, pleasure, spirituality, purpose, and fulfillment. Secondary food is the food that fuels us on the plate and is what we consume. 

6-Month Program

The program includes two bi-weekly 50-minute one-on-one sessions, email and text support, handouts, personalized gifts, healthy, simple recipes, and more. It also introduces you to a new way of thinking about primary and secondary food.

Every health coaching program is individually created for you, based upon your bio-individual needs and the health goals you want to achieve as well as what works best for your body and way of life.

Why 6 months?

The 6-month program gives you the time to develop new habits and achieve the health goals you have set for lifelong success. Changes don’t happen overnight, and it takes time to develop new habits.

My goal is to help you feel your best self and live a more balanced, healthy, and joyful life.

About me

Hi, I am Leslie, founder of Self Joy Living. I am an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach based in Houston, TX. I received my education from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, NY. I am a plant-based nutrition enthusiast and a nature and animal lover.

My wellness journey started a few years ago when I struggled with diabetes, acne, bloating, hormonal imbalance, self-image and confidence issues. I truly believe food is medicine. Taking control of my diet and changing my lifestyle helped me develop a healthy relationship with food and with my body.

My purpose is to help others feel and look their best.
